Step 1 – Product Submission Fill out our Cisco product submission form, you will find them throughout our website. Please include your contact details so our buyer agents can respond to your submission.
If you know the exact Cisco part numbers (ex. “CP-7961G”) of your inventory items please include them. Market value can range dramatically within a product series. Accurately ID’ing the model numbers of your Cisco IP Phones is critical in accurately determining value. Also make a note of any accessories you have available, such as AC power supplies, cords or PoE injectors, as they add additional value.
Step 2 – Buyer / Sales Agent Review Next, your product submission is reviewed by a CiscoPhoneBuy.com buyer or sales agent, depending on whether you wish to sell product to us, purchase New or Refurbished Cisco phones from us, or inquire about a trade in deal. In some cases, we may need further clarification from you on the model numbers and quantities desired.
Your buyer or sales agent will contact you via phone or email to review your submission. Once we have an accurate account of your Cisco phone inventory, or the Cisco IP phone products you are interested in purchasing, as well as your time frame for sale or purchase, we’ll begin the process of putting together a quote for your review.

Step 6 – Audit and Testing Once your phones arrives at our testing and distribution facility, they are unpacked and serialized. We record the Serial number and MAC address of each phone, and verify the model number and count of each phone. Once they are received and documented, your phones move on to our testing queue, where each phone is visually inspected to identify any physical damage. Phones are then boot tested, LCD displays and ethernet ports and tested for functionality.
Depending on the volume of material in our testing line, this process can typically take up to 2-3 business days.
Step 7 – Payment Once your phones have completed audit and testing, your purchase quote is closed and goes to our AP department for payment. Our standard payment method is a company check sent via traditional postal mail. We can also remit payment via wire transfer, or Paypal if you have a Paypal account and prefer to be paid via Paypal.
Phones that are received damaged and non-repairable can be recycled. We only deduct the cost of replacement parts (not labor) for phones that have broken components needing repair to make the phones fully functional.
